Installing a Kenwood CD player, Kenwood home theater speakers and Rockford Fosgate 6x9 speakers in my garage for a home stereo. I used a 12v 5A laptop power supply which I cut the end of the cord off and tied into the radio. I did skip in the beginning of the video as I originally was going to use a 19v 10a power supply. I found another one that was 12v and 5a. So no worries on "frying" the radio as I stated.
