How did this Busy Road become so Apocolyptic? Abandoned Ghost Road

Cauldwell Road on the outskirts of Mansfield in Nottinghamshire has been abandoned for 20 years.
Once a busy road between Mansfield and Sutton in Ashfield, Cauldwell Road now sits almost dormant and forgotten in places with no future at all.

Amongst the trees and woodland also hides a short section like something from an apocolyptic future. You could easily imagine zombies from the walking dead dawdling down this old section of abandoned road.

Join me as i walk aong Cauldwell Road and take a look at its condition 20 years after closure and why its abandoned too.
