The Guatemala City Market is a bunker, built of solid concrete after the devastating earthquake of 1976. Like most developing world markets, it's labyrinthine but colorful. This market is about equally divided between "tipica" items made for visiting tourists and export to other countries (on the way home from Guate on this occasion I saw a lot of Guatemalan goods in the Panama City airport).
A slow stroll through the market is a dizzy experience in any case ... but with the limited focus of the camera is even more so.
