In this episode of Solomon's Outdoor Adventures, Solomon discusses the geology of California's weirdest mountain range, Sutter Buttes. Dubbed "The World's Smallest Mountain Range", this dubious group of peaks is located right smack in the middle of the Sacramento Valley, about 50 miles north of Sacramento. They are volcanic in origin, but they exist in a place that they really shouldn't- watch the video to find out their story!
