It has been learned that after the KIA launched the offensive to seize Bhamo City in Kachin State, heavy casualties were inflicted on the junta side. Those died reportedly include the strategy commander of the 47th Light Infantry Battalion (LIB-47), the commander and deputy commander of the No. 641 Military Supplies Unit (MSU-641), along with many other junta officers and soldiers.
