There is only one field 𝔽₄ of order four, but 𝔽₄ admits a nontrivial automorphism. To motivate the idea that an object could be "unique in two different ways" we first look at the situation of right isoceles triangles up to similarity. Then we view the nontrivial automorphism of 𝔽₄ numerically, algebraically, and geometrically.
