This is my first real-time video with comments of how I hand color my black and white photographs. This is an image of a 1954 Plymouth which I obtained in Bungalow in the Boulders in Joshua Tree, CA.
I use cotton rounds, cotton swabs and Eye Tees (very pointy cotton swabs) to add Marshall Photo Oils (translucent oil paint) on top of the small black and white print (3x2 inches). The photo was printed with a lightjet on matte photo paper. The colors I used here were sky blue, burnt sienna, cadmium orange, cadmium yellow and oxide green.
