NL-Alert (Dutch EAS) should be tested today, but almost nobody got it. NL-Alert test has failed, but the air raid siren test was a succes!
Sadly, the Netherlands wants to replace the sirens with the EAS (NL-Alert). We can all agree that it's not good. Because! NL-Alert is still not very good. If you have your phone on Air Plane Mode, you wont get notified. If you live near the boarders of Belgium or Germany, you also wont get notified.
It's sad that the Netherlands are going to stop testing the sirens, but hey, who knows! Maybe they will continue!
