Rolling and Scrolling Text Animation in After Effects | Tutorial

Create a rolling and scrolling text animation quickly in After Effects. Use a round shape and pin the text layer to it, then use a Null object to rotate all text layers.
Use basic expressions, like the index expression to automatically adjust the positions of the other text layers. Then add Slider Controls to easily adjust the settings of the rig.

How would you approach an animation like that? Is my thinking too complicated?
