I Bought a 21 Year Old Nitro RC Car! Will it Run?

Its time to go back in time to 2003 where Nitro is really popular in the RC car hobby and beginners getting into the hobby would opt for nitro over electric RC which at the time was limited to brushed motors!

The HPI Nitro Rush and Nitro Rush Evo where excellent beginners options for people looking at getting into Nitro RC with their simply design and reliable engines.

Fast track to 2024 and Nitro is sadly dying due to the intensive start up procedures, maintenance and tuning that requires time/patience which lots of people refuse to invest their time in.

I Spent 2 days trying to get this vintage Nitro RC legend working and it think I finally worked out what was wrong!
