4 Knives and a Steel Hone from renowned Chinese Knife Makers, ShiBaZi.
These were part of a domestic Kitchen knife Set known as the Finch (Sparrow?) Knife Series S2706, and also included a perspex knife block and a pair of kitchen scissors. The block and scissors are long gone, lost in transit.
Over time the knives have been sharpened by a number of "specialists"... both door-to-door itinerants in Hanoi, Vietnam, as well as Farmer's Market Specialists in Hamburg, Germany.
The knives have now, "returned home" so to speak, back to Shanghai, China. My knife skills in this video were not rehearsed or practiced, and quite frankly they are not my favourite knives even though they have over time, served me well.
