From October 1994, we present an episode of the investigative series Soundings titled The Unforgiven, which examined the Mount Cashel Orphanage scandal that broke open in 1989. Reporter Deanne Fleet examined what happened to the residents who complained of sexual and physical abuse; the Christian Brothers who went to prison; and the lawyers who handled the judicial inquiry.
