If you are weaving rough poly string through natural gut it presents some problems. I like to pull weave my string with poly so it does not kink up and bad. The kinks in the poly as you weave it through the natural gut can wear on the gut. To make it easier to pull the poly through the gut I pull the next string to be tensioned up next to the last tensioned string.
