"I Killed Her After S*X" Deadpool Killer Wade Wilson

In October 2019, Florida witnessed one of the most shocking double murders in recent history — a case that would later make global headlines as the “Deadpool Killer” murders. The man behind it all was Wade Steven Wilson, a 25-year-old whose name eerily matched that of Marvel’s antihero, Deadpool — but what he did was far from fiction.

Wade Wilson brutally murdered two innocent women — Kristine Melton (35) and Diane Ruiz (43) — within just hours of each other. Both victims were from Cape Coral, Florida, and both fell victim to Wilson’s cold-blooded rage. After meeting Melton at a bar, Wilson followed her home, strangled her as she slept, and then stole her car. Hours later, he encountered Ruiz, lured her into his vehicle under false pretenses, strangled her, and when she fought back, he ran her over multiple times until she died.

What makes this case so disturbing is Wilson’s lack of remorse. After committing both murders, he called his biological father, confessed everything in graphic detail, and even mocked the victims. It was his father’s report to police that led to Wilson’s quick arrest.

Investigators discovered Wilson’s violent criminal history — prior arrests for burglary, theft, and even accusations of sexual assault — painting a picture of a man with a long record of escalating violence. During the trial, Wilson’s defense claimed he suffered from brain trauma and impulse control issues, allegedly caused by past injuries and drug abuse. However, the prosecution argued that the murders were calculated, deliberate, and purely evil.

In June 2024, a Florida jury found Wade Wilson guilty of both murders and recommended the death penalty. By August 2024, Judge Nicholas Thompson officially sentenced him to death by lethal injection, describing his crimes as heinous, atrocious, and cruel.

The “Deadpool Killer” case is not only a grim story of violence but also a reflection of how mental health, trauma, and drug use intersect with extreme criminal behavior. It has raised deep questions about justice, morality, and whether redemption is possible for someone who commits acts this horrific.
