"I recently performed at the Master’s Concert at the Jeju (Korea) International Festival and Competition. I started with my piece "Ukrainian Rhapsody," dedicated to my mom and my brother, who live in Ukraine amidst the war with Russian aggressors. During the performance, I decided to sing in the middle of the piece. Still, my voice was shaking; I felt the pain for the hundreds of innocent Ukrainian civilians who were killed and harmed in Bucha and Mariupol in my home city, Kharkiv. As I played, I was almost in tears...This terrible war needs to stop! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes! I love you, mom..." Sergei Golovko
