If you bought one of these and it seems noisy, this video will help you out! All in all, these are fine for light duty work. There isn't a whole lot of rigidity in the table, depth stop or column so if you need a precision drill press, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a light duty drill press that will allow you to drill fairly straight holes in light gauge metal, woods and plastics then this may work out for you. I already own 2 larger drill presses that are much higher quality. I wanted a third drill press that will only be used to countersink holes in soft plastic...this is ideal for that sort of application.
