@Samwel732 Kikongo language is spoken by Bakongo of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Congo Brazzaville and Angola.
The Luhya language is spoken by the Aba-luhya of Western Kenya and Eastern Uganda. Both are Bantu languages.
The distance apart between the regions where the two languages are spoken is at least 2000 kilometers. Inspite of this great distance apart, many words with similar meaning in both languages exist.
Such words are called cognates and they tell us more about Bantu language as was spoken by early Bantu speakers. In this video I compare cognates between Kikongo and Luhya.
