The Untamed Beauty of Wildcat Mountain State Park

Ash and Brandon hop back on the adventure trail this week and head south to Wildcat Mountain State Park. Located an hour east of La Crosse this park features scenic views and many miles of hiking trails. The Kickapoo River is close by also for water recreation opportunities. The quaint town of Ontario offers options for Kayak and Canoe rentals if needed. At this park we hiked two of the highest rated trails. Both the Old Settlers and Ice Cave Trails did not disappoint. Brandon make the .6 miles Ice Cave Trail hike by himself as baby Charlotte was fussy and needed to rest.
