❓About the Event
Over the past 10 years, the world of UX went through a revolution: users became more demanding, products became more complex and new tools and technologies empowered designers with a world of opportunities.
As this was not enough, we are at the cusp of a new revolution: Immersive technologies are entering the lives of more and more users in all shapes and forms. Yet designing for these new digital worlds requires a very different approach and toolset.
These are the topics that we will discuss with 2 leading UX experts in the design world: Sophia V. Prater and Cornel Hillman.
📌About our guests:
Sophia ( / sophiav ) is the founder and chief evangelist at Rewired UX, but most importantly a OOUX designer. OOUX stands for Object-Oriented UX and is a philosophy and a set of principles that helps UX designers break down complexity, understand convoluted business requirements, synthesize research, and facilitate collaboration with stakeholders, SMEs, and developers. Armed with OOUX, teams can create more efficient digital products that are easier to design and develop—and easier for users to understand.
Cornel ( / cornelhillmann ) is a CG artist and XR designer with over 20 years of experience in the media & entertainment, advertising and design industry. He worked with brands like Panasonic, Jaguar, Razor and many others. He has a deep hands-on experience in visualization, real-time graphics, XR and prototyping. He is the author of the book “Unreal for Mobile and Standalone VR” (Apress, New York, a division of Springer Nature).
