This is how I keep baby Mourning Geckos. Adults can be cannibalistic and the hatchlings are very small and excellent escape artists. After having a few juveniles escape from the adult enclosure I no long take chances and house the young ones in acrylic tarantula enclosures.
This particular gecko took 99 days at creature cave room temp(approx, 73-75* F). I did keep the egg in a deli cup with Josh's frogs hatching mix. Lepidodactylus lugubris are egg Gluers which means they attach their eggs to surfaces within the enclosure. This is why I use egg tubes within the enclosure, to give them a place to safely place the eggs. Then I can remove the egg tube with the eggs and place it into a hatching cup.
