It's been too long since the last Thank You Scientist cover on this channel. This song is a staple: it might not even be my favorite by them, but I could throw it on anytime and just feel great. From a drumming standpoint, the contrast it's got going with two distinct vocabularies - funk and metal - is astounding. The concept is the same: to groove. To make it move. Both styles developed in drastically different ways, and putting them together is a stroke of art, and in this song, I believe, that unholy matrimony comes across perfectly.
