We finally arrived in the south of Vietnam: Ho Chi Mihn city. After the not so nice sleepertrain, we also lost our place to stay... So without many options left, we booked the fancy Marriott Hotel in HCM. We got a very good rest and ready to discover a new city!
Ho Chi Mihn, also called Saigon, is such a big urban city in the south of Vietnam with a very different vibe compared to Hanoi. We learned a lot about the history of Saigon and why it's now named Ho Chi Mihn city. We had some amazing food at Madame Lam and loved all the lights during Christmas season in HCM.
