How to make simple Body Lotion at home | Easy Lotion Recipe | Baby Lotion at home| Homemade Body Lotion | DIY Body Lotion | DIY Moisturiser | how to make face cream
I have created this recipe to suit my baby which is why i did not add any fragrance or essential oil. But you can totally add them at cool down phase according to the usage rate of your fragrance or essential oil.
Recipe:
Heated water phase:
Distilled water - 153 grams
Vegetable Glycerin - 16 grams
Heated Oil Phase:
Sweet Almond Oil - 20 grams
Complete Emulsifying wax - 6 grams
Cool Down Phase:
Broad Spectrum Preservative - 1 gram
Tips:
sweet almond oil can be replaced with any liquid oil or combination of liquid oils like coconut oil, olive oil, jojoba oil etc.
Complete Emulsifying wax can be replaced with Emulsifying wax NF or polawax.
Emulsifying wax cannot be replaced with Beeswax or candelilla wax.
