Well we did not envisage what would happen in the early hours of our 2nd night!! All will be revealed....
Once we moved to the other hotel we could relax and get into our Island stay. We toured round in a taxi including the bumps, bottoms took a bashing!, saw the sights, eat some great food (mainly fish) and chilled by the shore. Loved the island of Nusa Lembongan and the Balienese people. I would say you have to bear in mind there are areas that are very poor and neglected, they have suffered over the years. The people are still the loveliest of people we have met on our travels, kind, polite and always happy to help. Our nickname is ¨The Country of Smiles¨ Suksama Bali x

TIPS:-
1) Most places accept CASH they do charge 10% Gov Tax and Service Charge on top of your bill. Generally the more upmarket establishments take only card.
2)Organise your Government Visa, Tourist Tax before you go online, easy. Customs Declaration is to be completed at Baggage Claim before you go through Passport Control.
3)Always dreass respectfully when visiting the Temples, shoulders covered, you will be given a Sari to wear.
4)Do your research if you have any disabillities (I suffer with my knees) and some of the steps were very steep at the waterfalls and ricefields.
5)Be aware of the offerings that are left and try not to step on them.
6) When you are travelling to and from the islands, look at the more reputable boat companies, and advisable to travel during the morning when the sea is calmer. We had a 1pm boat transfer back to the mainland, it was rocky!
We used Arthamas Express which docked onto the sea and you had to get off into the water not a huge issue when the water is calm, but on the return it was more different to climb on www.arthamasexpress.com
