Have you wondered if jasper can sharpen super steel? Here is how I refresh a slightly dulled CUB by Bark River Knives in CPM3V steel

This edge starts out a little less than satisfactory and I take it back to its full potential using just one stone. By full potential I mean razor sharp and shaving hair effortlessly instead of tugging or difficulty slicing.
I do this in 2 steps,

One side of my jasper is polished so that it cuts very fine and gives a mirror like finish the other side is sanded semi-fine to slightly course so that it can do faster edge reclamation and sub 1000 grit sharpening.
