Have we already forgotten about the tragic Suicide case of Atul Subhash? A Bengaluru based software engineer hung himself in his own apartment leaving behind a detailed suicide and video note alleging harassment by his wife, in-laws and overall Judicial system.

Here's my final take,

Men often face false dowry and harassment allegations, leading to legal and financial hardships. This is leading bad mental condition for all the married men and the worst is that there are not enough support systems and legal protections. Despite of all this, Men often pay huge alimony & maintenance even if the wife earns well. Very often Men are also implicated in false dowry case and can land men & their families in jail without proof. To top it all, legal battles cause depression, anxiety and financial ruin. Ultimately, we Men are forced to commit suicide to end our misery and get out of it all.

Is marriage still worth it for Indian men? Or is it becoming a risky bet?
