Updated Base Makeup Routine for Brown Skin | Niara Alexis

Hey yall!

I got really into trying new products this year and tried so many complexion products. Complexion products are anything related to you skin tone so thats your foundation & concealer for the most part. I also include in that category bronzers, setting powders, & blush because to me they also add to your overall complexion. This also what some people refer to as base makeup since it's the base of your look.

Now that we have the education out the way lol, lets get into the products. My go to foundation these days has been the Chanel Ultra Le Teint Foundation in shade BD141. I know it's pricey but it truly is the best in my opinion. We all know I'm a double concealer girl so the two I use is Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in Hazelnut which is BOMB and the Milani Conceal & Perfect Concealer in shade 165 Deep Tan. I'd recommend both of these concealers if you need full coverage.

For my setting powder I've been loving the One Size Ultimate Setting Powder and I use both the dark and translucent shades mixed for a light beige color. Moving on to bronzer, I tried the Fenty Sun Stalk'r Bronzer in Coco Naughty earlier this year and that's what I have been using non stop (Black Radiance Soft Focus Powder in Milk Chocolate is a nice dupe for this!) For blush, I think you can use just about any blush as long as it's the color you like but I will say I do prefer powder over cream for a matte look.
