Butterfly Inlays Finally Get the Spotlight

These vintage step tables came with a butterfly inlay detail that was totally lost under the old finish and years of wear and grime. I cleaned, scraped, sanded and fully refinished them to make that inlay finally stand out. There’s a trick I used to help the inlays pop even more - it involved some careful tape work, but it made all the difference. This was one of those flips that felt like uncovering a hidden gem.
