Max from Let's Escape Together runs through the complete installation process of the Truma Combi D 6 Diesel Heater / Hot Water System. This model introduces the best of both worlds as it can also be used as a diesel heater, and also to heat water, allowing for hot showers on the road!

Compared to other similar models, the Combi D 6 Truma Hot Water System / Diesel Heater is compact and lightweight. This allowed Max to easily install the system in the kitchen cabinetry, under the sink and out of sight.

This Truma Hot Water System / Heater can be controlled using a digital control panel, which was installed in the upper kitchen cabinets. The control panel allows you to set and reset your desired temperature for both air and water, and lets you know once the hot water system is heated up and ready to use.

Other points to remember about the Truma Combi Heater is the need for air ventilation. The couple have installed hot air vents throughout their van for heat to escape and allow for ventilation. It's very important to follow the product instructions and diagrams carefully despite the process being easy enough to do yourself, as well as ensuring all seals are secure and safe when plumbing to minimise leakage and bursting pipes.
