STITCHES & ABBREVIATIONS (US Terms):
-BPdc - back post double crochet
-ch(s) - chain(s)
-dc - double crochet
-dc BLO - double crochet back loop only
-FPdc - front post double crochet
-hdc - half double crochet
-sc - single crochet
-sk - skip
-sl st - slip stitch
-sp - space
-st(s) - stitch(es)
NOTES:
-Beginning chains do not count as stitches unless otherwise stated.
-Joins are made with a slip stitch into first stitch of round.
-Stitches between the [ ] brackets are to be worked the total number of times indicated.
-Stitches between the ( ) parenthesis are to be worked into the same stitch.
-Stitches with the number appearing first will all be worked into the same stitch. For example, 5dc would be 5 double crochet all worked in the same stitch. Whereas, dc 5 would be one double crochet worked into each of the next five stitches.
-Worked in a combination of joined rounds and continuous rounds.
-Worked top (cuff) down.
-To adjust the width of your cuff, simply add or remove to your beginning chain in multiples of two.
-To adjust the height of the warmer, simply add or remove rounds of double crochet at the bottom before adding your two decorative rounds.
-There is a “customize your size” section at the very end to help you make leg warmers that fit exactly how you want them to!
