Ride the Grindelwald Cable Car to First & Explore Switzerland (2021) 🇨🇭

Where is GRINDELWALD? This is a famous mountain resort in SWITZERLAND'S JUNGFRAU region. It is located in the Bernese Alps and is surrounded by stunning mountains such as the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau.
It's 138 Km from Zurich and 74 Km from Bern. You can reach here by train or by car. Travel time by train from ZURICH to GRINDELWALD is approximately 2 h and 37 min. You will change trains 2 times, the first change is in Bern and 2nd change is in Interlaken Ost before you reach GRINDELWALD. (see SBB for train schedules and fares) By car, it will take you approximately 2 h and 15 minutes depending on the traffic.

Aside from JUNGFRAUJOCH which is a must-see, GRINDELWALD FIRST is one of the top places to visit when you are in GRINDELWALD. It is located at 7109 feet above sea level and it takes 25 minutes gondola ride from the Grindelwald village to the top RESTAURANT FIRST. The cable car ride costs an SF64 round trip per person WITHOUT a Half Fare Swiss Pass or a 50% DISCOUNT (SF32) per person WITH Half Fare Swiss Pass. Dogs are free.
There is a lot to do in GRINDELWALD FIRST
1. Experience flying like a bird with your face down. You are pulled 800m backward up the hill and then you fly down at a speed of 83km/hr. You fly and soar like an eagle over an alpine valley with the most amazing views in the region.
2. Conquer your fear of height and go walk on the FIRST CLIFF walk by Tissot. The other side is a viewing platform that stretches above the ravine. You can take selfies and photos there with the surrounding mountains as your background.
3. Hike to BACHALPSEE LAKE. It's an easy hike for everybody however in peak season, the trail can get crowded.
4. Go for a Mountain cart ride.
5. Rent a Scooter bike (FIRST TROTTIBIKE SCOOTER) and drive all the way down to Grindelwald.
6. Go hiking around the area. There are 4 trails that you can choose from
Bachalpsee trail, Flower trail, Shynige Platte and Faulhorn trail
