Slow Pitch Jigging Yellowtail out of Point Loma Sportfishihng on the Mission Belle Exactly one year after my first attempt at it. Shout out to Captain Cameron, Steve, Drew, and Karen as you guys made the trip worthwhile. It was a Beautiful day at the islands and the Yellowtail just started to pick up on this trip for the season. I Believe i had some bad leader that i purchased at the landing. I hooked up several times and the leader just broke off. Lesson learned though as i have to always be prepared. I still did well and managed to bring four yellows onto the boat so i really should not be complaining. I still wish i was able to bring those fish i missed onto the boat. It would have been nice to give some fish away to other anglers who didn't do well. I will be getting back on soon. I don't think my Mexico trip is panning out. I feel bad for my buddy who i was supposed to go with. See you guys out there!!!
