PRETORIA - The man police claim hosted a gathering at a Vosloorus hostel on the night Senzo Meyiwa was killed has denied the state's version outright.
Instead, Sifiso “Gwabini” Zungu has branded the evidence of his uncle, key state witness Constable Sizwe Zungu, as lies.
He maintains he saw him only in 2017 and not in 2014 as claimed.
Constable Zungu has placed all five accused in Gwabini’s room at the Basotho Hostel on the night Meyiwa was murdered.
His evidence-in-chief continues on Tuesday.
