I Built a High-Tech Display Case for Miniatures… It Almost Broke Me

This simple little 3D printing project completely spiraled out of control. What I thought would be a fun afternoon build turned into two and a half months of frustration, failure, and filament wastage. But in the end? It was totally worth it.

I designed and 3D printed a high-tech display case with a built-in tablet slot to give each of my minis a dynamic, customizable background. Along the way, I ran into just about every problem imaginable—stuck iPads, failed prints, lighting disasters, and some very questionable life choices.

Was it worth it? YES. But man… this thing put up a fight.
