Tractor Pulling Salizzole 2024 by Power Pulling Italia - Verona, 19 Maggio - Prostock, Modified, etc

The first stage of the Power Pulling Italia 2024 championship brought the tractor-pulling show to the fields of Salizzole in the province of Verona on Sunday, 19 May. Despite the ground being full of water due to the heavy rain that hit the area for several days, the competition got underway with 35 starting vehicles. The competition field immediately tested the competitors and their tractors, but the spectacle was not lacking. In the Piccola Pulling category, there was a good fight between the Piccola Racing, General Lee Baby and Sacramentu vehicles, with the victory of the latter tractor driven by Elisa Lanfranchi. In the diesel tractor category, a spectacular debut with victory for Sergio Passera and his John Deere 4240, while in the Prosport 42 category, an excellent performance by both contenders in the race, Supersonic and Dynamite. The final race in the Prosport 36 category was beautiful, with the victory on the fine wool of Ivano Ronga's Challenger 6.6 against a fierce Landini Legend driven by Alberto Galetti. Finally, we were able to see the L'Aspirateur tractor with its two Isotov/Klimov TV2 turbines in action in the Light Modified class, completing a great test that saw it triumph over Emanuele Mazza's ever-performing Coyote. It's a shame that the new entry Vimana with a helicopter turbine, driven by Mirco Perugia, made an off-track but impressed me. It was spectacular to have seen Max Avanzini's Sota Spirit again in the powerful 3-engine configuration in the Modified class. The Prostock category was always beautiful, with consistent performances by the Stars & Stripes, the Green Star, the Black Devil and the Toro Blu. I must thank the Power Pulling Italia organization for allowing me to access the competition field and film the race. La prima tappa del campionato di Power Pulling Italia 2024 ha portato lo spettacolo del Tractor Pulling sui campi di Salizzole in provincia di Verona, Domenica 19 Maggio. Nonostante il terreno pieno d'acqua a causa delle forti pioggie che hanno imperversato il territorio per diversi giorni, la competizione ha preso il via con 35 mezzi partenti. Da subito il campo di gara ha messo a dura prova i concorrenti ed i loro trattori, ma lo spettacolo non è certo mancato. Nella categoria Piccola Pulling è stata bella la lotta tra i veicoli Piccola Racing, Generale Lee Baby e Sacramento con la vittoria di quest'ultimo trattore guidato da Elisa Lanfranchi. Nella categoria tractor diesel spettacolare esordio con vittoria di Sergio Passera ed il suo John Deere 4240 mentre in categoria Prosport 42 ottima prova di entrambi i contendenti in gara, Supersonic e Dynamite. Bella la gara finale in categoria Prosport 36 con la vittoria sul fino di lana del Challenger 6.6 di Ivano Ronga contro un agguerritissimo Landini Legend condotto da Alberto Galetti. Finalmente abbiamo potuto vedere il trattore L'Aspirateur con le sue due turbine Isotov/Klimov TV2 in azione in classe Light Modified portando a termine una grande prova che l'ha visto trionfare sul sempre prestante Coyote di Emanuele Mazza. Peccato per l'uscita dal tracciato della nuova entrata Vimana guidato da Mirco Perugia, anche questo veicolo con turbina, che ha comunque ben impressionato. Spettacolare aver rivisto il Sota Spirit di Max Avanzini nella potente configurazione a 3 motori in classe Modified e sempre bella la categoria Prostock con consistenti prove dello Starts & Stripes, del Green Star, del Black Devil e di Toro Blu.
