If using a Canaan asic to solo mine it has to be an IP not Umbrel,local
example 192.168.xx.xx
You CANNOT mine to the node until the node is fully synced, they can take anywhere from 2 days to a couple months depending on your internet speed, and the specs of your PC, do not download to you main pc, IT WILL WIPE ALL DATA AND BE REPLACED WITH ONLY UMBREL, USE AN OLD PC OR BUY A MINI PC OR UMBREL HOME NODE.
