KA-BAR BK2 OVERVIEW

My first impressions and thoughts on the much touted KA-BAR BK2. This is a heavy slab of 1095 Cro Van steel. The knife itself is 1/4 inch thick. Grivory scales held on by 3 nuts & Allen bolts, the scales themselves seem slick but well designed. This knife is 11 inches over all. The sheath leaves a lot to be desired, the Nylon webbing is quite flimsy for such a well made knife. It almost seems as though the sheath is an afterthought. The blade retention is awesome, you won't be losing the knife. The sheath does have eyelets and slots for multiple carrying and lashing options so it's not a total loss.
Overall, this is a solid knife and I will be doing extensive testing on this very popular knife. It comes highly recommended by many YouTube testers and outdoorsmen.
