Shakespeare in Detroit presents its 4th annual summer youth conservatory -- an extension of the nonprofit's Shakespeare STEAM program which teaches the Science of lighting, the Technology of sound design, the Engineering of a costume, the Art of classical performance and the Mathematics of set building to Detroit students.
The 2024 summer youth conservatory was made possible by the Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Foundation and the Gilbert Foundation.
Shakespeare STEAM and the summer youth conservatory was conceived and produced by Shakespeare in Detroit's Founder Sam White.
