NRBQ - Blues Stay away form me

Why do I adore NRBQ and think they are one of the best Rock & Roll bands of all time? Well, because they are able to play any style of American music, Jazz, Doo Wop, Rockabilly, 60's Pop, Frat Rock, Country & Western, Soul, R&B, etc ... Any version of a classic of American music that belongs to In the 30's, 40's, 50's or 60's it can pass through your hands and become something personal and magnificent, without losing its essence. Because in their albums you can find influences from Eddie Cochran, Big Joe Turner, Sun Ra, Lovin 'Spoonful, The Beach Boys, The Everly Brothers, The Beatles, The Shaggs, Thelonius Monk, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Turtles, The Coasters, 60's girls groups, Surf music, New Orleans sound, Harry Nilsson and many more and everything takes on a coherence that very few groups would achieve. Because they recorded albums with legends like Skeeter Davis or Carl Perkins. Because Link and Doug Wray gave them backing vocals on their song "Get a Grip." Because they are one of the favorite bands of Dave Edmunds, Paul McCartney, Eddie Angel, Elvis Costello, Greg Townson, Carlene Carter, Keith Richard, Bonnie Raitt, Robyn Hitchcock, Dan Baird, Hendrik Röver, The Young Fresh Fellows, Earl Palmer, John Sebastian, Skeeter Davis or Carl Perkins, and if musicians like these adore them, they will be right. And last but not least, because any song performed by them, such as this version of The Delmore Brothers, makes my day and gives me an incredible good vibes.
