From The Last Samurai (2003). This is an amazing fictional movie set during the time of the Satsuma Rebellion in 19th century Japan.


In this clip, Captain Algren is conferring with a man named Simon Graham, who is speaking on behalf of General Hasegawa, an old friend of their military target, the rebel General Katsumoto.


If you love history, philosophy or have a desire to better yourself, I highly encourage anyone who hasn't seen this film to check it out.The Last Samurai is definitely one of my top ten favorites.



As of April 2020 The Last Samurai is on Netflix.
