Definitively I can not conclude if it's damaged or not. But, as the camera mic does not accurate represent what I can hear, which is a muddy, shrill, almost like my ears are full of water sound, you won't be able to determine it. I cannot remember if this speaker sounded like that when I first got it. The only thing I can do is replace the driver.
