We went on the first tubing trip of the summer! The float was from the Watermill road access in Glenn Alpine to the Greenlee Ford Access in Morganton on the Catawba River. The trip was around 4 miles and took us about 3 hours of float time. However we did stop a couple times so the trip total for us was 4 hours and 15 mins. The water was still pretty chilly. If you adventure out and want to do this float use the path to the left at the spillage, DO NOT follow our lead and tube over it, we had to use a tree branch and pull ourselves over the current.
