This is just the last few minutes of rinsing, after hours of washing/cleaning radiators, engine and undercarriage. I also try to clean, font of fan clutch best I can. I start my engine and radiator cleaning with cold or warm, not hot engine. I'll run engine whenever I can during the processes. This keeps engine in a state very much like driving in rain and deep water crossing. Where water is spin off fan belt, its pulleys, alternator and AC clutch. AC on max window/doors open, keeps clutch AC engage. Water directed away from parts spinning and gap of wire housing block. Avoid getting Alternator wet, and never wash it. I make sure front end higher than rear. This direct water, that gets in valley under intake of the Toyota land cruiser 4.7L 2UZ,. Out the rear engine valley drains. Cleaning radiator fins, is one of those overlooked areas. I must admit, I've not being doing near as much radiator fin cleaning as I should. The bugs, cotton wood, grasses, bird feathers, dust, etc. builds and builds over the years in fins. This reduce the effectiveness of the radiator's ability to cool engine. By blocking air flow and retaining heat on the fins. Keeping rubber hoses clean, also extends their life. If drive belt or bearings of drive belt weak, you'll hear then sing. Time to replace.
