AREQUIPA, PERU | Our First Impressions Of This Lovely City Nestled In The Andes Mountains

Arequipa, Peru has been one of our most anticipated destinations for our #digitalnomad adventure this year. This beautiful city is located in the Andes Mountains at the foot of three different volcanoes and is know for it's food, celebrations, and strong city pride.

We flew into Lima and stayed overnight and caught a quick flight to Arequipa. We're staying for a month in the Yanahuara neighborhood in two different apartments. Luckily, we arrived on the eve of the Peruvian Independence day, so the Yanahuara plaza was hopping with food vendors, bands, and plenty of drink vendors!
