Chavara Public School Pala - Election 2022

Unlike the previous years, the Election to the School Parliament for the academic year 2022-23, were conducted in a democratic manner to inculcate constitutional values and democratic spirit among the students. Our Principal, Rev. Fr. Sabu Koodappattu CMI, helmed the affairs. Under the aegis of Principal, Headmaster Mr. Tom P Jose and the Department of Social Science successfully organized the elections. An election commission comprising of the Social Science teachers was headed by Mr. Jacob K J who was the Presiding Officer. Ten students from class IX submitted their nominations. After the scrutiny of the Election Commission, each one of them was given an election symbol, followed by the release of the election manifesto. Subsequently, there was the Meet the Candidate programme, where the able candidates sought their votes. The voting was held on Friday, 21-7-2022. Polling officers included the students of class X. Students of classes VI to X voted from10 am to 3 pm after which the ballot boxes were sealed. The polling percentage was as high as 93 percent. The counting of votes took place the following day. The results were declared by the Principal Rev. Fr. Sabu Koodappattu CMI. After the fiercely contested elections, Emmanuel Jacob is elected as the Junior Head Boy and Christeelen Ann Jais is elected as the Junior Head Girl respectively. The General Secretaries in office are Addon Mathew and Michelle Pradeep. Aditya Premsundar and Dyna Biju will be General Captains ( Sports) in this School Parliament. While, Ron K Kokkat and Briya K Siby emerged as the Junior Magazine Editors. Tom Mathew and Mary George will be in charge of the Arts Club .
