This iPhone 14PM was in the WASHER for 25 MINUTES! How I fixed it

This iPhone 14 Pro Max literally went through the WASHER for about 25 minutes… 😮‍💨
Customer needed the data, but the phone was completely dead.

When it came in, it would not turn on and there were obvious signs of water damage.

After opening it up, we found corrosion across multiple circuits, so this wasn’t a quick “clean it and it works” situation.

In this video I walk you through the full step-by-step process of how I handle severe water damage data recovery:

using a DC Power Supply + thermal camera to track down shorts

removing shields and cleaning corrosion properly

finding and removing a shorted capacitor (and then finding more problems…)

locating a corroded charging IC and rebelling/reinstalling it

restoring the board enough to boot and recover all the data

It was a long one, but we got it ✅
All data recovered.
