What if Yoda had killed Darth Sidious in Revenge of the Sith? What if the reign of the emperor ended pre-maturely just a few hours after the formation of the Galactic Empire? If Yoda was strong enough to defeat Palpatine this would drastically alter the Star Wars timeline.

For this What if story we’re going to explore a timeline that I believe would be plausible and realistic – yet with some unique dynamics, that take the timeline into an interesting route.

This will be of many possibilities that could result of this scenario. As with all What if stories there is no definitive answer, as it depends on the writer and the story they want to tell. I will be mixing elements from both the Expanded Universe and the Disney Canon. This story will blend in a variety of different What if’s into one story.
