This song is so very special to me. Every artist has their fair share of tough moments, and believe me, I have had mine too...

TL;DR - Welcome to the new Lucas Hunter era

For a while, I was unsure of where I wanted to go as an artist. I was stuck between copying the music that had influenced me, and always changing my music for what would be "popular" at the time. I never truly gave my own art the platform to shine.

That all changed around last year. I finally decided I was tired of changing my own music for others to enjoy. I chose to follow my own desires and make music that was unequivocally mine.

This song was the result. The first of many that I wrote after my change of direction, Lost in Translation holds a special place in my heart. It signifies the ending of my past musical struggles, the internal battle between myself and my judgement, and the first taste to the world of what I want to bring to the table with my music.

For everyone who has supported me, thank you. For everyone that has grown with me, thank you. For everyone who will come to listen to me in the future, thank you. Without any of you, this journey wouldn't be as special.
