The Chiltern Main Line serves some large towns like High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Warick, Lemington Spa, Solihull and Banbury, as well as the Cities of London, Birmingham and Oxford.
Chiltern Railways use Class 168s as there flagship train on the Chiltern Main Line between London and Birmimgham, sometimes Class 68s pulling MK3 carriges are used on the route. It has recently been confirmed that Chiltern Railways will be inherting Ex Transpennine Express MK5 carriges.
CrossCountry also serve the station frequently, their services heading to Manchester, Bournemouth, Reading and Newcastle all stop at Banbury. CrossCountry use their Class 220 and 221 trains. Great Western Railway also serve Banbuyr, with services to Didcot Parkway and London Paddington, using the Class 165 and Class 800, although no GWR services were about while I was there.
