I've wanted to do a friends to lovers video using this song for years, and I finally got around to it! It's a short song so I decided to only use comedy couples in this... lol but you know me I still find a way to use way too many couples, so sorry if each one only appears a few times in this. But I can't help it that so many of my ships fit this trope, friends to lovers are just superior! I also wanted to include a few couples that I really haven't vidded in years, but that are so underrated and I wish more people liked/knew about.. like Travis/Laurie and Greg/Katie. I actually just recently did a rewatch of Cougar Town and started a full Travis/Laurie video.. who knows if I'll ever finish it haha but ya, I forgot how much I loved them! Side note, somewhere between my like 50th and 60th (lmao) rewatch of The Office, I finally realized that I just really don't ship Andy/Erin all that much, and that I fully ship Pete/Erin only. I used to ship both but always preferred Pete and Erin, I've even vidded them in multicouples vids before years ago, but I dunno after rewatching the later seasons again and again I realize I just don't enjoy the Andy/Erin dynamic much at all. She just makes way more sense with Pete to me, and they're so adorable, they're honestly one of my favourite parts about season 9. They have so many cute scenes, but there's even way more that were deleted, that I wish they had time to keep in the show, cause it would've made their relationship development make even more sense to those who thought it was rushed or whatever. I think I'm in the minority with shipping them, but oh well, I ship what I want and they were the only other Office ship that I felt fit the friends to lovers trope besides Jim/Pam, so I really wanted to include them! Also I realize David/Patrick were only friends for all of like 4 episodes before getting together, so maybe they don't embody this trope as much, but I don't care I wanted to use them in this lmao. I also couldn't figure out a quote to use at the beginning, and I wanted one that really exemplified the theme of the video, so I went with this iconic one from When Harry Met Sally. Hope it makes sense haha.
